No, it doesn’t matter what you wear as long as you are there! Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

How do you celebrate Communion and can I join in?

We celebrate Communion on the 1st Sunday of the month at our Beldon Ste and the 2nd Sunday of each month at our St Stephens Carramar Site. Generally, everyone is served in their seats, however occasionally we take Communion at the altar. Everyone who loves Jesus Christ a little and wants to love him more is welcome to take Communion with us, regardless of their church background. You are not obliged to participate if you are unsure of what it means or feel uncomfortable taking the bread and grape juice. We have grape juice as opposed to wine as children are included in Communion in the Uniting Church. Gluten free bread is also available.

What if I’m not sure about Christianity?

We are all at different points on our faith journey and support each other where we are. You can explore faith at your own pace.

Is there something for my kids to do during the service?

We have a Sunday School program running at the Beldon Campus for children ages 3 years to Year 7. On 1st Sundays the children meet in the chapel at 9 am and return to the service to share in Communion. On 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays they start in the service and head out to Sunday School after a children’s address. The children return to the service before the benediction to share what they have learned. All of our Sunday School teachers have Working with Children Checks.
