Our Mission

The NorthWay Uniting Church’s Mission is to be a living presence of God in the community and to follow the example of Christ so that God’s transforming love may be experienced by all.

Our mission leads us to:

  • Reach up in worship and faithfulness as we worship and engage in bible study and prayer groups
  • Reach in to support and grow together through our children’s ministry, the Youth Initiative, Messy Church, ChristToga, coffee group, luncheon group, choir and Caring Hands group which have important fellowship functions
  • Reach out in compassion, witness and service to children through the Beldon Early Learning Centre, the Beldon Playgroup, mentoring at the Beldon Primary School, engagement with St Stephens School Carramar; and, support for school chaplains in the northern suburbs, GSI, UnitingCare, foster children in the northern suburbs, English classes for migrant women and engaging seniors from aged care facilities with intergenerational fellowship.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a Christian community for all and NorthWay does not distinguish between confirmed and baptised members, members in association and adherents.
